New work Media (NWM) has been closely linked with the Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) since its inception last year. The self storage industry has recently had a remarkable growth in Asia Pacific with market interest from entrepreneurs and financial institutions.

In order to communicate the SSAA’s exceptional first year of operation, NWM developed a ‘business chamber’ style magazine, that included in-depth interviews from industry leaders and market insights from operators and suppliers.

Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan have established markets with China, Vietnam, The Philippines and Malaysia emerging. Demand for self storage is expected to continue across the region with urban residential growth and a booming middle class.

The magazine launch coincided with the SSAA’s first regional industry conference in Tokyo last month; in order to communicate with Japanese delegates, the publication was designed to accommodate full bilingual content.

Luigi La Tona, Executive Director, Self Storage Association Asia commented,

The Self Storage Association Asia and New Work Media have had the pleasure of collaborating on several high profile projects including our first two magazines and our Expo brochure in two languages that was distributed to 200 delegates. As a start-up, we didn’t quite understand the degree of effort it would take to produce these items. For that, the patience, understanding, and professionalism from New Work Media to help us complete the media on time and to a personal creative degree was generous to say the least.
